2. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how CargoNXT processes personal data when users access the CargoNXT website, customer portal, transportation-company portal, driver application and related services.

CargoNXT processes personal data in accordance with applicable data-protection law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Depending on how CargoNXT is used, we may process:

Account Data

Name, email address, telephone number, login information, account type and account settings.

Company Data

Company name, business address, contact persons and relevant business or transportation information.

Recipient Information

Driver Data

Driver name, contact information, assigned vehicle, assigned shipments, transportation status and related operational information.

Vehicle Data

Vehicle identification and operational information, vehicle type, availability and shipment assignments.

Location Data

Where tracking is enabled, CargoNXT may process GPS or other location information from a driver's mobile device, vehicle or connected tracking system during transportation activities.

Proof of Delivery

CargoNXT may process photographs, signatures, documents, recipient details, timestamps and other information submitted as proof of collection or delivery.

Payment Information

Payment-related information including transaction identifiers, payment status, amount and payment method.

Full payment-card information may be processed directly by the applicable payment service provider rather than CargoNXT.

Technical Data

IP address, device information, browser information, application version, timestamps, security logs and related technical information.

We may process personal data to:

• Connect shippers and Transport Providers
• Calculate or display transportation prices

Depending on the processing activity, personal data may be processed on the basis of:

6. Guest Bookings

Users booking without an account must still provide information necessary to process the requested transportation.

Guest data is processed for purposes including booking administration, transportation fulfilment, payment processing, communication, legal compliance and handling potential claims.

7. Location and Shipment Tracking

CargoNXT may process location information to provide transportation and shipment-tracking functionality.

During an active transportation job, location information may be collected from the driver's device, vehicle or another connected tracking source.

Location data may be made available in an appropriate form to authorized parties involved in the relevant shipment.

Tracking is intended to provide transportation visibility and operational coordination.

CargoNXT does not intend to use driver location information for unrelated continuous surveillance.

8. Proof of Delivery

Proof-of-delivery information may include photographs, signatures, timestamps, documents and information concerning the recipient.

Such information is processed to document performance of the transportation service, resolve delivery questions, process payments and handle disputes or legal claims.

9. Payment Providers

CargoNXT may use third-party payment providers including Stripe and Mollie.

When a user makes a payment, necessary information may be transmitted directly to or processed by the relevant payment provider.

The payment provider may process personal information independently in accordance with its own privacy policy and regulatory obligations.

10. Transportation Providers

Information required to perform a shipment may be disclosed to the Transport Provider responsible for that shipment.

This may include pickup and delivery addresses, contact details, shipment information and operational instructions.

11. Drivers

Transportation companies may provide relevant driver information to CargoNXT and assign transportation jobs to drivers.

Drivers can receive information required to perform assigned pickups and deliveries.

12. Service Providers

CargoNXT may use service providers for areas including:

• Hosting and cloud infrastructure
• Payment processing
• Mapping and navigation
• Email and communications
• SMS or notification services
• Security
• Analytics
• Technical support

Service providers receive personal data only to the extent required for the relevant service and subject to applicable data-protection requirements.

Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, CargoNXT will use an appropriate transfer mechanism where required by applicable law.

Depending on the provider and destination, this may include an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses or another legally permitted mechanism.
